Johnson's versatility will keep him in the PL.
Plenty of lower PL teams would happily have him in their squad seeing as he can cover both full back spots as well as central defence.

Surely Johnson is a Championship defender, no shame in that, and I'd be surprised if that is where he didn't end up. Will still retire a multi-millionaire.

Funny one, Johnson. Half the time you watch him, and think he's a good solid squad player who can cover both flanks, then sometimes you watch him and wonder if it's the first time he's ever played football.

He seems a decent lad, dies Johnson, but last season he was pretty bloody poor. Get rid and stick a sell on clause just in case.

Fair play to Ben Johnson. I know he didn’t get on but he played 2 of the games during the tournament and even if he doesn’t develop into the player we thought he might a couple of years ago, to win 2 European medals for club & country in the space of about a month is something he will always cherish.

The better team and we'll worth the win. Spai s keeper was even better than ours, kept them in it time and time again. Good bit of niggle in that game, love it.

The football pendulum has been knocked off its axis by our European win. The marginals favouring to an English team again !!
Another little fact. Last time West Ham won a trophy before our recent victory over Fiorentina was in 1965. The next year England ( well WH actually ) won the the WC ?
Not sure it’s possible for us to win the Euros in 2024 without 3 West Ham players but if it’s possible. The planets are aligning 🙂

Harwood-Bellis, Trafford and Palmer (loan) as part of the Rice deal would have been very sensible.
